What's up???

This is me at my halfway to weight loss goal...and yes my hair is darker now.

Hello!!! And how are all my lovelies? I so need an update here. What has been going on with me? Sorry I have not posted in awhile. Facebook takes up alot of my time online. Come and be my friend there. My facebook page is Barbara Cullum Masters. I also try to sing at least once a day @ singsnap.com under the name Waitressangel. I have over 5600 recordings there. Since we last communicated alot has happened. I will just start in June.
June 23...decided I needed to lose weight. Bought a pair of roller skates and proceeded to try them out at my son Eric's apartment in the parking garage....not a smart move. Going down the ramp at about 25 mph I fell and broke the T8 vertebrae in my back and injured my stomach as well. I figured I was just bruised and could ride it out. It only got worse and ended up going to the doctor to find out that it was worse. I had to have complete bed rest for 4 months. During this time I spent my days taking medicine and just laying around trying to heal. During this time I joined Jenny Craig and began to lose weight. As of today I have lost 23 pounds!! I want to get down to at least 125. I am on my 12th week now I think. The food is good, but I am getting hungry for regular food and I miss cooking!

Eric is doing good. He has a girlfriend who has two adorable boys ages 1 and 5. The youngest one is Jacob, he is a handful but oh so sweet. James is the oldest and such fun to be around.

Eric is working two jobs now.

One is as a delivery guy for Jason's Deli and the other one is being an actual chef again at a place called Home Field Grill.

Eric had his new teeth put in in June also and is soon to have his permanent teeth. This was a little more than we expected money wise and time wise, but it is So worth it. He smiles now. Showing his beautiful teeth.

Rick and I are STILL working on the estate and remodeling our house.Right now Rick is working on the new big room. Sanding the ceiling and getting ready to paint it. Next comes the paneling and floors. I can't wait to have that room back again!
Sadie Marie is doing great. She is still adorable and spoiled. She keeps us busy throwing her ball and keeping her food and water filled. She is Ricks side kick and crys when he leaves the room. Right now she is begging for a bite of his breakfast.
My upcoming goals are to continue to lose weight. Sell the estate and go back to work. They are building a new grocery store right next door to my house...walking distance! So when I go back to work I plan on going there. They have already told me I could come back anytime. Anyway. On to bigger and better things..life is good.
